WOW... we went out the other day with Knysna Rib Adventures and boy did we have an awesome time - Thanks guys!!. Going through the Knysna Heads at springtide on a boat trip is a must do activity when in Knysna (Garden Route). Springtide is when the tide is pulling the hardest at the ocean and if effects the height of the water by an extra meter or so...and because of this increase the current is extra strong going through the Knysna Heads...well let me tell you that did not stop the 500hp Knysna Rib. Our boat trip felt safe and it was fun and full of adventure, you also can't help having respect for the indian ocean and even more respect for the sailing and sailors who sail these amazing waters...hup hup!!

Oh and we also saw whales, dolphins a seal and plenty birds. For a first we saw a hammerhead shark right up on the surface - I tell you when you go out into the ocean its like a safari experience you will never know what mother nature will offer you.

2 hour trip through the infamous Knysna Heads on the 9 meter RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat).

We go past Thesen Island and Leisure Isle Island on a high speed run, through the Featherbed and exit the Heads (conditions permitting) - once through the Heads, we will cruise along the coastline, keeping an eye out for the abundant marine life.

We also go into the sea-wards caves and show you up close and personal the rich diversity of the Knysna Coastline from an unique perspective, from outside the Heads, looking in.

A great way to experience the unique diversity of the Knysna Estuarine. The trip will go past Ashmeads, Featherbed Bay and then exit the infamous Heads. From there you go past Noetzie, Cony Glen and back across to Brenton on Sea, Jaap se Baai and many other areas.
